Our history

CommerceTuned was founded in 2003 and has its roots in the early 2000s, when Paul was Head of SEO for Cable & Wireless’ £40m “One Web” project, consolidating more than 50 global websites into a single portal without losing organic visibility.

After leading SEO projects for brands like KPMG and managing high-stakes migrations and geo-targeted architectures, Paul set up CommerceTuned as a specialist consultancy focused on white-label SEO, training and PPC support for agencies and brands.

Since then, we’ve lived every phase of search — from early technical SEO and reputation management to today’s AI-generated answers, video-rich SERPs and multi-device journeys. That history means we’re comfortable handling messy legacy setups, while also preparing your site for where search is heading next.

Paul has 20+ years’ experience in SEO, analytics and paid media, helping brands navigate complex migrations, compliance and multi-market search strategies.

Paul began his career working on large content sites for News Corp before becoming SEO manager for Cable & Wireless’ £40m “One Web” project, consolidating more than 50 global sites into a single platform without losing organic visibility.

Since founding CommerceTuned in 2003, he has led SEO and analytics work for finance, retail, lifestyle and B2B brands – including technical audits, penalty recovery, international SEO and long-term content programmes. He also trains in-house teams worldwide on SEO, analytics and Google Ads so they can embed best practice internally.

Paul combines an MSc in Computer Science with a pragmatic, commercial approach: recommendations are grounded in data, but always tied to realistic implementation and measurable business outcomes.

Miguel is an SEO project manager with a content background, focused on clarity, structure and commercial intent – so content is well researched easy to read, easier to trust, and built to perform in search.

After starting his professional career in 2012 as an SEO copywriter, Miguel moved into SEO project management for sites in highly competitive sectors across multiple markets, including Spain, Colombia, Argentina, Brazil and other LATAM countries. Today, he continues to lead content projects end-to-end, keeping communication straightforward and delivery reliable.

He holds university degrees in Business Administration and Marketing Research, has completed a Master’s in Artificial Intelligence, and has also undertaken advanced training in community management and Spanish proofreading, bringing strong quality control to every deliverable.
