SodaStream Focuses Marketing on Campaign to Promote Water over Fizzy Drinks

SodaStream continues to drive market share growth with the launch of a new ad this week promoting their 'Water Made Exciting' campaign - it aims to give kids an appealing alternative to high-sugar fizzy drinks.

Enhanced by above-the-line investment and a strategic partnership with Public Health England's Sugar Swap initiative, SodaStream's 'Water Made Exciting' campaign seeks to encourage parents to reduce their children's sugar consumption by providing healthier alternatives. Their latest ad highlights the difficulties that parents face trying to get kids to drink water.

Managing Director at SodaStream, Fiona Hope, commented: "Research has shown us that boredom is a key factor when it comes to families and children not drinking enough water at mealtimes and that SodaStream can inject fun and excitement to this."

Supporting marketing activity will include an interactive social media campaign targeting mums and children, as well as vlogger and blogger contributions gained from a coordinated public relations push. Meanwhile, special SodaStream packs and displays in Asda and Dunelm stores will cover in-store promotion.
