Independent Opera Gets Website and Branding Overhaul to Support Young Artists

Independent Opera (IO), a company created to further London's artistic talent, has undergone a website revamp to better promote young artists in their Sadler's Wells productions as well as in the field of opera at large.

The Silk Pearce agency was drafted to overhaul their website, which entailed a complete redesign and restructure. This includes larger imagery and more user-friendly navigation to enhance the company's ability to communicate their work.

Additionally, a tile design has been implemented on the Home Page to encourage user engagement and the entire site has been fully optimised for display on tablets, smartphones and other devices.

Silk Pearce has also refreshed IO's overall branding strength with the aim of giving the company's printed and other online materials a sharper, stronger and more integrated look - this spans a new IO logo, design style, typography and colour palette.

Chief Executive at IO, Anna Gustafson, has said that the reasoning behind the update rests on their desire to "reflect the energy and enthusiasm for opera that runs throughout our own organisation and all the artists we support".
