Heinz Teams Up with Children's Charity for Personalised Soup Campaign

Heinz has joined forces with the Starlight Children's Foundation for a campaign that will raise money to provide entertainment for poorly children in hospitals and hospices across the nation.

The innovative Heinz 'Get Well' Soup campaign allows users to personalise tins of their tomato and chicken soup, which can then be sent to an ill friend or family member. Customers can create their personalised can of soup on Facebook, for the cost of £3.99.

This initiative will be supported by PR, social media activity and TV advertising. A seven second tag on the Heinz Soup 'I Love Winter' advert has been launched since yesterday (January 6) and will run for two weeks.

Marketing Executive at Heinz, Bobbie Staden, commented on their latest campaign: "We're thrilled to be working with Starlight again to bring smiles to the faces of children across the UK. Due to the success of our previous 'Get Well' Soup campaigns, we wanted to bring it back but also add something extra to the Starlight Children's Foundation partnership.

He added: "Heinz consumers can help those who really deserve to have their spirits lifted and we're certain that Starlight storytellers will provide them with lots of laughter."
