Harveys Furniture Becomes First UK Brand to Adopt Twitter Product Cards

A UK furniture brand is claiming to be the first major retailer in Britain to incorporate Twitter in-stream Product Cards to showcase its products.

Harveys Furniture worked with Ogilvy & Mather to incorporate the feature, which is designed to better showcase stock on Twitter, including images and pricing details about the items.

When users click to expand tweets about products, they will be able to see previews of each item and click through to the relevant Harveys product pages.

Head of Digital Marketing at Harveys Furniture, Perry Braun explained their objective was to create a "richer and more seamless" customer experience for its Twitter followers.

He commented: "Twitter is the one of the most exciting social media platforms in the world. These cards allow us as a brand to talk about our products, whilst making it effortless for customers to view key information such as price, description and even customer ratings. It's essential for social platforms to develop and enhance the way brands can communicate with their fans and followers."
